Now hiring - WebSphere Administrator (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)

Assignment Description:
Provide guidance to the application development staff throughout the life cycle of a project to ensure adherence to   coding standards and to enterprise application architecture goals.
Provide technical advice, instruction, and guidance to other applications development staff in the areas of programming languages, development standards, documentation and metrics.
Works with Architecture Integration and Enterprise Infrastructure to develop enterprise architecture for project-specific requirements.
Act as a leader enabling new application/systems development techniques.
Translate business requirements and specifications into supporting technical design, architecture, system and data models, and application prototypes.
Provide for the development and guidance of team members to ensure that technical knowledge is disseminated across the project team and organization.
Researches and applies a variety of technically advanced programming and documentation techniques to promote program structure and ease-of-maintenance.

Duties include:
Confirm Architecture Direction
Recommend System Hardware and Software
Design, Prototype and Develop Technical Architecture
Conduct Architecture Performance Testing
Customize Development Tools and Repository
Design IS Operations Processes Design and Develop Application Components at all layers (User Interface, Data Access, etc.)
Influence other application developers to ensure adherence to programming techniques that promote code-reuse and ease-of-maintenance.

Skills:
Deploy Solutions, E-commerce, E-commerce Concepts, Internet, Internet Security, Visio. Seeking candidate with 3-5 years of IBM WebSphere administration experience. Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 6.1 or higher is required. Experience with WebSphere Portal 6.1 or higher and/or WebSphere Commerce 6.0 or higher is desired.
