Warranty Engineer  

Permanent
Responsible for pursuing expedient analysis and resolution of all warranty issues. Entry of warranty return part information into applicable customer and Valeo warranty tracking systems. Take direction from and assist other Warranty Engineer(s). Utilize the customers warranty systems; schedule and participate in warranty reviews; coordinate warranty returns to Seymour and Queretaro for analysis; provide analysis results including on-line data entry; and provide feedback to internal Warranty organization. Requires 20% travel to assembly plants and dealers to investigate issues and to facility in Queretaro, Mexico to assist with warranty claim investigations as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other technical field required. Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Ability to analyze and understand all aspects of the customer warranty systems. Requires technical knowledge of/or ability to learn Problem Identification Techniques, Quality Improvement Tools, Group Problem Solving Techniques, and Fault Tree Analysis. Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience preferred. Some Quality or Warranty experience desired. Must adhere to 5S standards.
