Position Requirements
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support .NET solutions, as well as other web and database technologies.
Work with IT and business professionals to elicit requirements and evaluate and recommend the best web technology solution that will meet the customer's needs and is consistent with the organization's IT architecture and strategy;
Quickly assume responsibility and deal with certain task independently, delivering results, which support the approved project plan.
Skillset Requirements
Minimum of two-three years of current development experience within the .NET Framework with SharePoint development experience being a plus.
Documented skills and experience with the following:
Languages: C#, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, SQL
Frameworks: ASP.NET (2.0 - 4), jQuery, ADO.NET
Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
Software: Visual Studio 2010, Toad, SQL Server Management Studio
Strong relational database knowledge with a concentration on Oracle and SQL Server;
SDLC - Experience with solicitation and documentation of software requirements; software design documentation; software testing; software change management methodologies.
Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative, excellent follow-up skills, possess keen analytical skills, along with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate concepts and ideas related to assigned projects and customer support;
Must be well organized, results oriented, and able to tackle problems with minimum supervision;
Preferred Qualifications:
The following experience or exposure to below technologies is a PLUS:
Languages: ColdFusion, PHP
Frameworks: AJAX, Entity Framework, Model View Controller (MVC), SharePoint 2010
Software: Working knowledge of LINQ (Language Integrated Query), XML, Adobe Flash Studio and Action Script, Adobe Photoshop
Working knowledge of SharePoint 2010 (web services, web parts, workflows) |
