Adecco Engineering and Technical is currently in need of a Systems Administrator for our client in Indianapolis, Indiana. The duration of this assignment ranges from five to nine months.
Responsible for engineering tools and infrastructure support.
- Maintain a customer service orientation and represent the interests of the user base being served
- Build relationships with the program and general organization, collaborating to achieve best results
- Maintain a can-do attitude and seek innovative resolution to issues
- Understand the technical nuance of installation, licensing, administration, and maintenance of commonly used applications
- Maintain an environment of compliance amongst the group's commonly used applications
- Prioritize among urgent, routine, and project tasks
- Be fiscally prudent with resources and provide budget input
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows while leveraging available technology to address user needs
- Assist the user base in adoption of new tools as they selected and deployed
- Use analytical approaches to inform decision making
- Willing to learn and grow as an individual and team member across technical, leadership, management, and geographic boundaries
- Experience in system administration with a working knowledge of the following is required:
Windows Server, user control and access rights, file shares, web services, Microsoft SQL Server Desirable experience:
- Experience in system administration or use of any of the following is desirable:
Sharepoint, Unix, Documentum, software continuous integration, software build and deploy toolchains - Software Engineering Tools:
