The office of Adecco Engineering and Technical is currently seeking a System Administrator for a direct position.

Description
A member of the Information Technology Department and Infrastructure team, the primary role of the System Administrator is to actively maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot all infrastructure related systems, devices, or applications and to provide Tier 2 support for escalated Service Desk tickets. This is a high paced, challenging environment that requires a confident and knowledgeable administrator that is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the stability and availability of all firm infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities
Actively monitor and maintain Active Directory
Actively monitor and maintain DNS, WINS, DHCP and other related directory services functions
Actively monitor and maintain Active Directory sites and services, replication between sites
Actively monitor and maintain network monitoring system using SNMP
Actively monitor and maintain Symantec Endpoint Security
Actively monitor and maintain WSUS system
Provide Tier 2/3 support to Service Desk
Maintain documentation of all infrastructure systems and actively contribute to knowledge base
Maintain and refine processes and procedures
Work with other team members on other items as required
Present professional appearance, maintain organized personal work space, excellent work ethic and attitude
Provide outstanding customer service to our business and end users
Work a rotating after-hours support schedule

Requirements
Ideal Candidate will possess four year degree from accredited university in Information Systems, Management, or related field and have a minimum of 4 years' experience administering an Active Directory network
Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong organization skills
Ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment
Ability to lead by example, work individually and within a team environment
Communicate and explain technical issues to non-technical customers
Possess exceptional trouble-shooting skills and knowledge of industry tools used to diagnose and resolve server, network, infrastructure issues
Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 R2 operating systems
In depth knowledge of Dell Server hardware, Dell Equallogic SANs, EMC Celerra/Clariion SAN/NAS, WWAN technology
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2010 archiving
In depth knowledge of VMware View, ESX and ESXi
Knowledge of direct attached storage technologies such as iSCSI
Knowledge of Incident Management and Request Fulfillment
Working knowledge of remote connectivity technologies such as Citrix, VMware View, and VPN
Knowledge of Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 devices
Participate in various projects as assigned
Thin Client and Virtual Machine experience
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Some travel is required

Desirable
VMware View, ESX, ESXi Experience
SAN/NAS experience
MCITP: Server Administrator Certification
MCITP: Enterprise Administrator Certification
Network+ Certification
Server+ Certification
Checkpoint Firewall experience
ITIL v3 Certification/Experience
