We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Packaging Supervisor in our Ridgefield, NJ facility:

Supervise 20-25 operators in syringe packaging and inspection operation. Candidate will work closely with planning, logistics, and QA to execute against the manufacturing schedule. The candidate should be familiar with the unit operations for syringe packaging and visual inspection of pre-filled syringes. The candidate should have a strong cGMP pharmaceutical background with process improvement experience (LEAN, Six Sigma, OE).

Qualifications
  • Ensure strict compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, training, environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Manage multiple work teams to execute against schedule, coordinate equipment setup, and motivate high performance teams
  • Initiate and investigate non-conformances when quality or safety incidents occur and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Manage performance, provide periodic reviews, provide feedback, and general administration of personnel policies and procedures
  • BA or BS in science, engineering, or business preferred
  • Five to ten years of direct supervision experience in manufacturing (cGMP, packaging environment a plus)
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong PC skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations (data analysis, MRP, programming experience a plus)
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence methods as it applies to pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging (Green or Black belt a plus)
