Substation Engineer - Atlanta

Substation Engineer is to be responsible for design of high voltage electrical substations, primarily from 46 to 230 kV, for cooperative, municipal, and investor owned utilities. Duties would include preparing detailed specifications and designs for all aspects of electrical substations. The primary emphasis of this position would be physical design. He/she would be responsible for managing assigned projects from conception through completion. Applicant must have superior oral and written communication skills, and the ability to interact and work comfortably with clients and associates of various backgrounds and abilities. Minimum educational requirements would be a bachelor's degree in engineering. We prefer a minimum of five years experience to include physical layout, protection and controls design, construction, testing and operation of electrical substations.
