POSITION DUTIES:
This person will work closely with software development engineers and be responsible for the establishment and execution of automated software module level testing capabilities that include basis path testing, code coverage analysis, boundary value analysis and other White Box testing techniques.

• Develop software module level test frameworks, test harnesses and scripts that will be used to perform automated White Box testing
• Review of software requirements and design documentation to determine test requirements and improve the quality of the requirements/design
• Prepare test cases, test plans and test procedures
• Perform testing, collect, analyze and interpret data, prepare test reports, log and track software defects
• Assist in investigating software related problems
• Keep abreast of advances in software testing methodologies. Add to current knowledge base by pursuing education and training in related areas of technology for career growth and company benefit.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Embedded software design, development and test
• Minimum 3 years recent experience with C/C++ programming
• Familiar with and able to understand UML based requirements analysis and design
• Familiarity with both black and White Box testing methodologies
• Understanding of the operation and function of microcomputer hardware and software in Real Time digital controls, and working understanding of Microprocessor based hardware design.
• Familiarity with Software Quality Assurance methodologies

PREFERRED:

• 7-10 years job related experience
• Familiarity with IEEE, CMMI, IEC and other industry standards for software development
• Experience with Echelon LonWorks TM communications technology.
• Software testing certification
