Sr Programmer Analyst

Is responsible for computer software to meet the needs of the business. Has general understanding of the organization(s) being supported and IT's role in the business mission. May have specialized knowledge in one or more areas.
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities (in order of importance)
1. With high-level direction, supports IT projects within estimated time and in accordance with acceptable quality measurements.
2. Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the development environment, application support areas, and/or programming languages.
3. Conducts analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation for small to medium projects, and may assist with the same for larger projects.
4. With minimal direction, investigates and resolves application issues.
5. Detail oriented, self-motivated and excellent communication skills.
 
Minimum Qualifications (Education, experience, licensure, training, and specific skills to fulfil the primary duties and responsibilities of the job)
1. Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) Computer Science
2. 2 or more years of experience or equivalent proficiency level in programming or support.
3.  Microsoft .NET Framework, Visual Studio 2010, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server 2008, SQL Server Reporting Services, Windows Server 2003/2008.  Some knowledge of network, Microsoft Office suite 2010, Microsoft Windows 7.
4.  Understand Object Oriented modelling concepts.
