What you need for this position:
- At least 2 years of experience as a software architect, designing enterprise software - Background in one or more of the following Java, C#, J2EE, C++l
- Java and SQL experience in a web based environment
- Expert level in J2EE
- BS degree is preferred
Preferred skills:
- Tomcat, WebLogic, Glassfish, and experience with the deployment of applications to each of these, in production as well as a continuous integration environment
- Expert use of XML
- In depth knowledge and demonstrable experience with the following frameworks/technologies: J2EE, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, Dojo, JSON, JibX, JaxB, Castor, XSD, Web Services, Jasper Reports, Servlets/JSP, XHTML, Tiles and JQuery.
What you will be doing:
- Overseeing and managing the full software development life cycle process of a development team as well as designing, coding, and testing application software
- Lead (software development life cycle activities, code reviews, research, etc.) and mentoring of developers.
- Design user interaction models and workflows
- Design, code, and test application software
- Documentation
