Site Planning Analyst Senior This position supports site operations by ensuring it has the correct materials at the appropriate time to satisfy customer demand.
Responsibilities include: Production Planning § Reviewing and establishing requirements for printed packaging components that support the packaging plan § Initiating all work orders for Distribution Requirement Planning, Integrated Replenishment or Electronic Material Transfer requests for the packaging plan § Master scheduling with manufacturing for the overall production plan based on demand requirements
Systems Management § Providing MM MFG/Pro transition and training (Purchasing and Planning) § Setting up new Bill of Materials and Part Numbers for these new products and setting up new Item Master data § Verifying inventory balances § Validating or adjusting standard cost
Inventory Management § Expiration dating analysis. Analyzing data and making recommendations to the Global Product Planning Team § Assisting in making safety stock decisions for validated, approved and/or new items § Periodically reviewing inventory targets § Working with Manufacturing regarding necessary adjustments to production plan to accommodate any forecast changes § Monitoring production schedule to ensure it meets the global forecast
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree with 5-7 years experience in planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment 3 years experience with inventory management and forecasting concepts 1 year experience purchasing through external sources
Preferred Qualifications: Experienced working in a CGMP environment Experienced in evaluating and sourcing new materials from existing or new suppliers Ability to impact changes within a planning and scheduling system in a manufacturing environment Experienced with supply contract negotiations Ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies and establish planning parameters Developed and produced monthly metrics for site planning group Analyzed forecast consumption, ordering patterns and challenged forecast information Proficient in MS Office and MRP Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Organized, adaptable, communicates effectively and tactfully to all levels of the organization, ability to make decisions and establish relationships Strong problem-solving skills Experienced facilitating meetings Led project teams Job: Purchasing Primary Location: United States-Massachusetts-Allston Shift: Day Job Job Type: Regular Employee Status: Regular |
