Senior Technical Operations Analyst  


Job Description:
The Operations Analyst will work with Operations/Implementation and Data Management teams to support new and existing SalesVision clients.

The scheduled shift for this position is 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.


  • Assist in administering and running the SalesVision batch environment for various clients
  • Execute, write and test batch scripts in a Red Hat Linux environment
  • Assist with routine and emergency batch tasks including: deploying batch environments and recovering failed batch jobs
  • Work with Technical Services staff to coordinate releases, software/hardware upgrades and security upgrades

Run supermarket/XSLT load jobs
Assist in managing portal passwords
Monitor Site-Scope alerts and take appropriate action to remediate
Run/oversee scripted processes that require manual intervention
Run one-time scripts upon request
Primary work hours will be 8am to 5pm - Monday thru Friday with changes/exceptions to allow for coverage/changes in processing loads/special cases etc as determined by management.
Participate in On-call rotation
Represent ADC Operations group at daily Broadridge change control meetings
Other day-to-day and project duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
2+ year experience with Oracle
2+ years experience with Linux/Unix
Proficiency in SQL with 2+ years experience
Working knowledge of Shell Scripting
Overall knowledge of Client Server architecture
Must be very detail oriented
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Strong problem solving skills
Knowledge of financial services industry concepts/terminology
Familiarity working in a problem escalation/remediation environment

Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Education: Associates
