Senior Service Supervisor (Operations Management)

Service Technicians make up over 75% of our staff, and with a fleet of over 800 service vehicles, we can meet our customers' needs anytime and anywhere.

As the Senior Sales and Service Supervisor you will be instrumental in shaping the performance and customer satisfaction with this growing, successful service.

SLS in Washington is looking for a well-qualified management candidate to manage all aspects of Branch Service Business including both remote and service center based Technicians, Inspections, Service Calls, etc. utilizing in-house labor or subcontractors.

Other areas of responsibility include:
Surveys
Route development and maintenance
Schedules
Material and special equipment orders (if necessary)
Managing of recycling through approved companies
Job site inspections
Progress reports (internal and external, if required)
Meeting all On-Time requirements for both Inspections and On-Call service
Maintaining productivity levels to insure profitability

Also responsible for:
Interviewing
Hiring
Orientation
Training and assessment of Service Technicians (Indoor and Outdoor)
Adherence to SLS Six Point Safety Program
Timely and accurate completion of all internal and external reporting in relation to this Service Business
Fleet maintenance in regards to all vehicles used for the Service Business in the branch

Requirements:

Basic qualifications: Bachelors degree 2 years related experience Knowledge of productivity procedures and lighting products, plus basic level of business management Microsoft Office DOT certification SLS safety weight limit is 280 lbs Strong organizational and communication skillsDesired Skills: Previous work with Service Crews and experience in working with subcontractors Electrical license SAP experience In addition to a great standard benefits package including tuition reimbursement, we offer autonomy in your position and the support of a highly successful corporate structure.SYLVANIA Lighting Services (SLS), a subsidiary of OSRAM SYLVANIA, has its headquarters in Danvers, Massachusetts.
