Senior Programmer Analyst

Job Description:
(Description) Responsible for the development and maintenance of application software. Resolves programming issues and implements major regulatory changes into the brokerage systems adhering to all Broadridge defined development procedures and standards.

Resolve program issues
Design, debug, and test new or existing programs
Implement changes according to standard turnover procedure
Evaluate business requirements and estimate workload based on functional specifications
Participate in test plans and provide testing results to Product Management
Participate in system analysis and design

Research, analyze and fix programs
Provide 24 hour support of production systems

Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
Field(s) of Study:
Computer Science, Math, Technology related degree

Type of experience:
4+ years of programming with Mainframe Technologies- DB2, Cobol, VSAM, MQ, CICS
Experience with report generation
Large project development/deployment experience

Proficiency in programming
Very good communication skills
Very good analytical skills
Ability to create visual diagrams using common desktop applications
Ability to understand others' coding changes

Education: Bachelors (highly preferred)
