Senior Product Manager  

Job Description:
(Description) Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) recently acquired NewRiver, Inc., a leader in electronic investor disclosure solutions that has been an important supplier to Broadridge for nearly a decade.

The Senior Product Manager of FundPoint Solutions drives the strategy, roadmap, development, implementation and support processes of the Broadridge FundPoint suite of mutual fund data and desktop compliance products. The position requires cross functional team work with our sales, services, operations, technology, marketing, and product groups. The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience of managing products within the financial services context as well as prior experience with software development project management. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial, driven individual seeking a challenge in a fast paced market environment looking to create innovative product offerings in a high growth area. The role requires significant client interaction and touch points with industry organizations.

- Effectively gather and document client business requirements
- Create detail functional specifications based on client business requirements
- Manage product issues and drive resolution of issues
- Develop and maintain release documentation and conduct training for the sales and services teams on new features
- Facilitate the product release process including the management of UAT and ensure roll out readiness
- Serve as the point of contact for the product for the services and sales teams for questions and maintain the enhancements database
- Regularly meet with and conduct product feedback discussions with clients and prospects
- Participate in industry wide thought leadership events
- Partner with the marketing organization to develop market positions and product promotions/campaigns

Qualifications Required:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
- Practitioner level of understanding of product management framework and best practices
- Experience in productizing concepts into profitable product offerings
- Extensive work experience in the financial services sector
- Solid understanding of brokerage, variable annuity/variable life, and retirement markets
- Demonstrable knowledge of software development life cycle with proven track record of delivering projects or gathering requirements in this context
- Broad knowledge of web based applications and database technologies

- Prior experience working in for a business/technology consultancy a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven team leadership, project management, and group facilitation skills
- Detail-oriented and possess excellent oral, written, and organizational skills
- Has a strong can do attitude and can build relationships with stakeholders both horizontally and vertically across the organization
