Senior Operations Research Systems Analyst

Job Description
This person will work in an office that's responsible for providing Link and Content Intelligence Value Estimation (IVE)
* Be part of a team that supports its customers with "internal consulting" on various analytics and Business Intelligence questions
* Development and prototype analytic and decision-making methodologies for intelligence value estimation (IVE)
* Formulate key business (mission) questions and derive their assiciated answers

Required Qualifications
THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH POLY. UBS respects and safeguards the confidentiality of all applicants. Please ensure that this information is documented on your Resume
* Minimum 8 years combined experience in the application of theories and principles related to operations research and decision analysis, current decision analysis support tools and able to prepare thorough and comprehensive statistical analysis reports
* Minimum 6 years of experience formulating and answering key business (mission) questions using standard Business Intelligence practices
* Minimum 4 years of experience in Java or a mathematically focused language; such as MATLAB, OCTAVE, R, etc., and experience with SQL

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
* Experience implementing and operating with modern Business Intelligence tools (star schemas, DB Design, OLAP, MDX, Pentaho, COGNOS, etc)
* Experience with data mining techniques including the application of regression, clusterning and classification algorithms to large, incomplete datasets
* Experience with Hadoop/MapReduce

A typical work week is Monday thru Friday; 40 hours. Ocassional overtime may be required.

Compensation: Up to $134, 000 + benefits
