Analysts are also responsible for generating research papers on various investment topics and may be involved in the development of asset allocation strategies for Prima's clients. In order to be successful, the Analyst must have in-depth knowledge of financial and statistical concepts, and a thorough understanding of the capital markets. The analyst must be detail oriented, demonstrate proficiency in the development of investment theses and be able to communicate effectively through written reports and client presentations. A significant amount of writing is required, as is limited travel.
Qualifications Required: (Experience, Skills, Academic) Prima is looking for individuals with demonstrated records of success who will be able to make a meaningful contribution to our team. Candidates must have at least seven years of experience in the financial services industry, including prior experience analysing separate accounts, mutual funds, hedge funds or private equity funds. Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in finance or economics, although demonstrated academic success in general will be given careful consideration.
