• Responsible for ISO9000/2001 and TS16949 compliance concerning the Calibration requirements:
  
  
  
  • Maintaining the Instrument/equipment database for BCVS Elyria Engineering
  • Recall of Test Instruments due for recalibration
  • Generating and tracking Out of Tolerance reports for review by the Test Request Originators
  • Establish and modify as necessary the equipment calibration due cycles
• Evaluate, select and procure outside sources for calibration of equipment
• Responsible for BCVS Engineering Equipment/Instruments needs:
  
  
  
  • Assit the Test Request Originator with equipment selection needs
  • Maintain and store all BCVS Engineering test equipment not currently in use
  • Assist engineers and technicians with set-up and operation of various test equipment
• Repair/Maintain various Engineering Test Systems
• Maintain equipment operator, service and maintenance manuals for BCVS Engineering equipment
• Lead/facilitate Model Shop Oversight process
• Coordinate Engineering Services 5S improvements
• Investigate and propose best practices for Engineering Laboratory operations
• Organize/document a common planned maintenance program for test equipment
• Support BCVS Engineering Leadership Team initiatives
• Support ISO audit process for Engineering Services
