Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for the technical design of assigned projects and providing premier customer service for all divisional products.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Interacts routinely with customers, distributors, vendors, design engineers, lab technicians and other division personnel.

Use of judgment in analysis of facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems and action to be taken within limits of standard practice. Under direction of superior where definite objectives are established. Plans and arranges own work, referring only unusual cases to supervisor.

Essential Functions:
- Assist field sales and distributors in applying current and new products to customer need and satisfaction. 
- Consult with customers regarding product and capabilities. 
- Provide technical expertise on product. 
- Provide technical training of customers in motion control products. 
- Guide the preparation, checking, and releasing of design layouts and detailed drawings. 
- Initiate and supervise testing and report preparation for reliable development or acceptance tests. 
- Initiate and/or engineer new applications for solving technical problems associated with assigned product lines. 
- Provide timely reports summarizing findings on a given product or project. 
- Make good, sound business judgment.
- Must continuously maintain the highest degree of customer service, throughput, quality, cost reduction and people productivity.

Job Requirement:
Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree in a technical discipline.
- Technical competence in discipline-specific area.
- 1 year experience in engineering, sales, manufacturing, or related technical areas.
