SMB Sales Rep  

The product line includes, but is not limited to: voice and video over IP, advanced routing and switching, web collaboration, wireless, storage networking, security, broadband, and content networking. Product training is available.

  • Responsible for new business, account penetration, and retention with those companies with greater than 50 employees up to approximately $ 99M in domestic annual revenue
  • Understand client's infrastructures; compare and contrast this infrastructure to the solution.
  • Provide external assistance on manufacturer product lines; communicate these plans to clients and potential clients.
  • 3 - 5 years of successful business development and sales experience is required.
  • Identifies, creates and implements action plans for Key/Focus accounts.
  • The ideal candidate must possess good customer presence with a demonstrated ability to develop new business.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives to closure, and maintain relationships to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Candidates must have competence in all methods of demand generation and relationship management techniques, including, but not limited to cold calling, event coordination, and other methods used to create and drive business opportunities.
  • The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, self-starting, prolific communicator and have the ability to master complex selling environments.
  • The position requires extensive business management skills including proficiency in developing quarterly and annual strategic plans as well as short-term sales forecasts.
  • A key component of this role will be this person's ability to work with Cisco, EMC, VMWare and Tandberg sales teams to drive opportunity development in order to fit unique customer requirements.
