SAP Material Master Coordinator/Retail Content Mgr.  

This role will be responsible for SAP Material Master and Retail Content Data Synchronization for materials within the NAFTA Automotive business unit. The position will provide leadership and direction in material data creation, standardization, quality and integrity. Establish and maintain master data definitions, perform quality audits, develop validation procedures, and manage data improvement projects. Responsibilities will also include updating policies and procedures relating to material data, implementing new data management tools and techniques, providing training and support for data users, providing end user help and guidance, and ensuring overall data governance.
Position will interface with the global master data community to ensure global standards are maintained. Position will be responsible for leading the Automotive division in global master data projects such as implementing the Global Master Data System (GMS) for NAFTA Automotive. As SAP Material Master Data Coordinator, the position will lead the New Product Request (NPR) team. A cross functional team responsible for creating SAP material master data. The position will create material master views, create BOMs from data provided by engineering, connect materials to Routers, maintain other data related to supply chain management and manage change requests utilizing SAP documentation system (EDOS).
As Retail Content Manager, this position will be responsible for retail content data synchronization for our largest national accounts. Retail content data includes all marketing materials, images, bulb specific information and other selling features expected by the retailer. Position will create customer load sheets to be processed within multiple systems specific to the retailer like 1Sync, EdgeNet (BigHamer), PILS, PIES, Excel and various web portals. Position will ensure consistency and integrity of retail data maintained in multiple information systems and/or documents. Position will coordinate the choice of, installation and maintenance of new Product Information Management (PIM) system and other web based Marketing tools.
The position will also be a lead team member of the obsolete team. At a materials end of life, the position will be responsible for archiving data and to ensure removal of all data from active systems.


This is a new position so exact requirements may change as position matures. Flexibility and work orientation required.Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing or EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of SAP, SAP Master Data or Content Management experienceProject Management expertise preferredMinimum of Intermediate level excel skills required, Advanced skills preferred (Excel tasks will include vertical look ups, pivot tables, IF statements and other data functions)Preferred Intermediate Access/Sequel database skills. Table and query creation.Exceptional Time Management and ability to work with minimal supervision Proven ability to work with a variety of personalities and technical expertise with professionalism Domestic travel may be required
