We are a strong and growing company in the biochemistry/chemistry/organic chemistry/life science industry. And due to grow we are seeking a qualified Director of Research and Development.
What is needed and what you will be doing in this position:
- Ph.D. in biochemistry, organic chemistry, chemistry or a related life science field.
- Experience in biological, chemical, bioscience industry with an accomplished track record.
- Ability to be a leader in research & development of new and innovative products.
- Experience in leading, motivating, training research staff to meet and exceed goals and objectives.
- Strategic ability to develop goals, strategies, tactics and priorities in the implementation of new products from the ground up.
- Identify opportunities for growth with innovative products.
- Proven experience and documented success in development of new products through previous patents etc.
- Experience in Animal Feed, Pet Food, Animal Health or chemical industry is a huge bonus.
- Published research in your field.
- Regulatory Experience is a plus
- Animal Science Background is another plus.
