We are experiencing considerable growth and are seeking: Operations Support - Record Acquisition The Operations Support position contributes to the success of LMI's operations by applying company-wide work flow and process knowledge in completing work assignments in accordance with business needs and Client expectations. This position is relied upon as part of a float pool of flexible support staff that provides department specific support and ensures changing workflow demands are met. The position masters all support functions within LMI. The initial assignment for this position is in the Record Acquisition Department, where the Operations Support employee follows the project protocol, ensures appropriate authorizations and generates requests for healthcare and or litigation specific records. The position also identifies healthcare or related providers from legal and non-legal documents; verifies provider information through Internet research and contacts providers by telephone to facilitate the efficient and timely collection of records. Documents clearly and succinctly provider contact and progress using a proprietary database application. Requirements include: - At least one year experience in the legal profession, medical profession or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and searching on the Internet.
- Strong experience working with databases with knowledge of database structure and functionality.

Preferred Qualifications: - 2-4 year degree in a health-related field, legal profession, research or business fields, or paralegal certification.
- Legal, Medical or Medical Records experience and working knowledge of legal and/or medical terminology
