Project Coordinator  

Contract

The ideal candidate will Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated installation & implementation projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Identifies and delineates project scope and objectives while managing expectations. Resolves conflicts within the project team and conflicts with the customer in a highly professional and effective manner. Identifies, forms, leads and wins commitment of internal and external customer resources and leads the team in a highly constructive & effective manner such that customer needs are met or exceeded while simultaneously supporting, meeting, or exceeding US business objectives. Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and accountabilities. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continuous quality improvement. Builds and effectively communicates professional project plans that are utilized in customer implementations. Clearly identifies risks and derives a plan to minimize their impact to the project. Responsible for project plan alterations/revisions as project evolves. Conducts pre-implementation meetings and implementation meetings. Facilitates post-implementation feedback from customers. Directs and coordinates activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Champions the program/project through the business processes such that the project/product teams as well as local US management is always well informed and the necessary support from the global and local organization is maintained. Prepares project reports for management, client or others as needed. Responsible for the management of the processes and cross divisional personnel necessary to effectively implement our clients products and services within a Customer facility.

Demonstrated negotiating skills, non-confrontational, win-win outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to review and manage large quantities of detailed data
- History of successful, multitasking assignments
- Work history will demonstrate a repeatable pattern of process driven activity work
- Will have managed multiple concurrent projects
- Will have lead two or three small projects of at least two or three months duration
- Will not necessarily have Microsoft Project or other project tool experience.
