Production Supervisor  

Contract
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate openings for a Production Supervisor with a leading company in Columbus, IN.

SUMMARY:
Production Supervisor is responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing processed to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of product and safety of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor
  • Strong familiarity with ISO14001 and QS9000
  • MUST possess strong knowledge of logistics areas
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Standard Work, etc)
Description:
  • Open to working any shift and weekends
  • Direct supervision of hourly workforce engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products.
  • Responsible for department inventory levels
  • Responsible for daily production schedule planning as well as forecasted schedule
  • Strong communication skills, personal accountability and integrity are essential.
