Description
This is a Monday - Friday, day-shift position.

This position is a high visibility role with high profile and influence. Responsibility of this position guides the expenditure of the significant site resources and directly impacts the corporation's revenue.

The person in this role will be responsible for planning, preparing and controlling the plant production schedule for bulk manufacturing which includes but not limited to:
-Facilitates daily scheduling meeting
-Implements the plant master schedule
-Monitors and verifies inventory balances to execute the detailed schedule
-Identifies and assists with resolving gaps in master schedule
-Provides Key Performance Indicators for the Manufacturing Group
-Facilitates the scheduling of equipment preventative maintenance, calibrations, work orders and validation studies to minimize the impact to the manufacturing schedule
-Creates plant daily schedule, and maintains manufacturing schedule communication tools (ie communication boards, scheduling web site, etc.)
-Tracks and communicates the status of work-in-progress, material availability, pending material expiration dates and schedule changes
-Anticipates and resolves equipment, material and personnel scheduling conflicts

This role requires the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and direction. Participates in determining objectives of significant projects or assignments. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting desired organizational goals and objectives. Performs work that requires decision making and the consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion. Works in cross-functional teams with little or direct supervision

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
7 to 10 years of relevant industrial experience required
Must have strong organizational skills
Ability to influence without authority.
Must be directive and/or utilize processes which provide clear priorities to MFG and support teams (eg QA, QC, MTS, etc..).

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree in Management, Science or Engineering preferred.
