Oracle DBA role largely responsible for providing environmental support in testing for an ongoing Datawarehouse project. We are looking to augment existing DBA staff with an additional resource as we are standing up five parallel testing environments and the existing staff can not support the workload.

Some of the primary responsibilities of this role would include:
- Following procedures, practices and standards employed by the existing DBA team.
- Restoring production backups into the test environment and applying customizations detailed by the source system teams.
- Ensuring that the test setup approximates the production setup as closely as possible.

The role does not include schema management as this is being handled by the source system teams.

This role requires the ability to correctly execute minor details, good communication skills, a strong service oriented mentality, high sense of ownership and urgency of the requests, focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with the needs of the project, establishing and maintaining communication with the project staff to keep them updated with the status of their requests, and proactive escalation of issues that can not be quickly resolved.
