RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain and configure Net Alert's functionality within the Service Center in the NOC* Setup and maintain communications involving Net Alert and clients* Respond to Windows and Networking alerts generated by Net Alert* Manage Net Alerts monitoring rules within the level platforms software* Create and manage reports generated for clients within Net Alert* Maintain and manage the patch management process within clients' sites* Manage Cisco MARS security appliances and respond to alerts generated from them* Respond to after hours requests for client support* Inform sales staff about sales opportunities* Inform customers about our services* Complete ConnectWise data entry in an accurate and timely fashion* Participate in available training to advance in skills and knowledge* Meet ISG standards of utilization* Acquire and maintain certain technical certifications, as assigned and required, including, but not limited to, the manufacturers listed below:* APC. Axis. Brocade. Cisco* Citrix. CommVault. Comptia. Dell* EMC. EqualLogic. Fortinet. HP* IBM. Lexmark. McAfee. Microsoft* Milestone. Net App. Novell. Okidata* S2. Symantec. Tandberg. VMware* WebSENSE COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of the Internet; Excel; Word Processing software; and Email Communications software.EDUCATIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred* Microsoft Windows and other operating systems experience* Two years field experience or equivalent certification* Travel to client sites may be required; must possess valid driver's license, and driving record must meet the criteria of our insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage
