This individual will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Supports the activities of the IT staff for specific applications by providing in-depth consulting to client, IT management and IT staff at the highest technical level.
2) Performs SharePoint design reviews to enforce best practices and standards.
3) Analyzes, develops, tests and implements SharePoint services in support of corporate and client area technology requirements.
4) Know the capabilities of SharePoint; understand the business needs, and present conceptual designs and architecture in response to the business needs.
5) Interface with C-level executive leadership team.
6) Ability to lead complete software development life cycle, including analysis, design, configuring, programming and unit testing for information worker applications based on Microsoft technologies.
7) Ability to work independently with users and executives to expand the use of SharePoint to address business issues.
8) Skills in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and SharePoint Designer 2007.

Furthermore, our client is about to upgrade from 2007 to SharePoint 2010, so anyone with this type of experience would be a plus.
