This exciting opportunity is designed for students in the Mechanical Engineering area of study. The paid internship will start late May 2011 and will provide you with an introduction to defining consistent design methodologies for mechanical designers to use during feasibility and production design phases.

You will work alongside talented engineers and scientists and receive hands-on job experience focusing on the following areas:

• Develop detailed design process check lists for Forward and Rear automotive lighting applications.
• Complete audit check list to be in alignment with design guidelines database.
• Create and rollout designer level structural simulation process and checklist.
• Deploy 1D Stack-up Analysis and GD&T/3D Stack-up Analysis within design department.

Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a bachelor's level degree in an engineering discipline. Must be have authorization to work in the United States.
