Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling and optimization of aftermarket material into the regional distribution centers for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems (BCVS) and Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake (BSFB)

Essential Functions:

• Ensure material plan is adequate to meet requirements
• Expedite/de-expedite material based on needs of the business
• Improve stock coverage at the regional distribution centers with focus on market critical parts to increase customer satisfaction
• Serve as key focal point in plant's delivery improvement process
• Ensure material is being brought into facilities in the most optimal methods

• Plant contact for new parts planning activities
• Plan and manage material (part) transitions
• Support optimization of material replenishment strategies
• Coordinate excess material review and return to WPDC
• Develop monthly SIOPI and SIOPII submissions
• Establishes good working relationships with manufacturing and distribution facilities, as well as BCVS and BSFB CoC and central support colleagues

Knowledge:

• Possesses supply chain knowledge of materials and scheduling
• Possesses an understanding on how to effectively perform in a Matrix organization and cross plant operation
