Job Summary:
Plans, coordinates and evaluates all unit activities impacting patient care delivery; holds self and staff accountable for identification, evaluation, documentation and appropriate intervention of patients needs to ensure quality and cost effective patient care. Maintains accountability for ongoing unit operations, including practice and financial management. Ensures the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through the implementation of the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice. Utilizes productivity metrics and performance measures to drive labor utilization. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursingCurrent registered nurse licensure in the State of OhioBachelors of Science in NursingAt least 5 years experience as a registered nurseDemonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialty certification in fieldMasters degree in nursing or another health related field
