Linux Integration Engineer	Permanent

Financial firm is looking for multi-talented Linux Integration Engineers who will play a critical role in architecting, implementing and maintaining infrastructure and the software that supports the trading systems. The Integration Engineer will be part of highly experienced team, facing the daily challenge of managing a critical, high volume data flow in a large complex trading environment distributed over a high speed data infrastructure. Must be heavy in Perl Python Scripting, automation, MYSQL and trading application support. As a Linux/Integration Integration Engineer, you are in charge of maintaining the performance, availability and security of cutting edge in-house trading systems. Also you are responsible for the integration of software components, exchange interfacing applications and the management of deployments. You will be defining distributed and scalable deployment architectures in order to provide a low latency, high volume trading environment. This role requires in depth knowledge of high level protocols to manage many different exchange connections. Developing and managing fully automated test and staging environment is a key component to the job. This role also requires proactive management of trading systems, identifying potential problems and bottlenecks. Technical requirements * 2 years minimum experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer * Expert in various operating systems such as (Linux), Windows a plus * Knowledge or proficiency in Java coding * Experience in using and administrating MYSQL * Network protocols (TCP/IP, multicast) * Scripting (Python/Bash/Perl/Regular expressions) * Prefer 7-8 years Linux Integration of software components to various exchanges in interfacing. * Understanding of Java Coach Networking * System tuning. All about low latency and speed * Experience in the financial, hosting on line, Real Time or high volume transaction industry * Researching and evaluating new and existing technology
