Job Duties:

• The Senior Software Engineer receives their assignments from the Development Manager.
• Architect, design, code, document, unit test, integration test feature enhancements.
• Work closely with the architecture group to implement long term vision.
• Research new relevant technologies and produce POCs to weigh future integration into the product.
• Improve the existing cloud infrastructure to improve HA, deployment automation and configuration.
• Gain a thorough understanding of our client's services (1) SDLC process, (2) development, QA, and production environments, and (3) Small Business Product platforms.
  Technical leadership of other Engineering personnel.

Job Requirements:
The Senior Software Engineer must have a Computer Science (or Engineering) degree (MS degree preferred)
6+ years of software development experience in the context high volume, transaction systems.
Knowledge of Java and JVM based languages, JBoss AS, JSF (1.2 and 2.0), Struts, ORM technologies, relational database (Oracle and/or SQL Server), RHEL, Windows, web-based applications, system development, Scripting languages (Unix Shell, JavaScript)
Strong knowledge of highly available, distributed systems.

Knowledge of JEE (EJB 3.x and 2.x), Ruby/RoR, Groovy a plus.

The Software Engineer must communicate clearly, often through spoken &/or written means.
