Java Developer	Contract/Permanent

Job Description The primary function of the Developer is designing, coding, testing and deployment of software applications to meet the business requirements. The Developer will leverage technical expertise to configure and maintain software applications. Duties: Development of technical design documents in support of business/functional requirements Hands on design, configuring, coding, testing and deploying of software applications Maintenance and support of applications including performance tuning and bug fixing Production and End User Support Activities Perform tasks as required by management/supervisory staff All other duties as assigned Qualifications Six to eight years of experience in designing and developing enterprise Java/J2EE web applications; At least three years of experience using Java/J2EE including JDBC, JMS, Java Beans; At least three years of experience using HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML. Experience with Oracle Application Server, and Oracle database Experience with PL/SQL, work flows, report writing. Creative and effective problem solving skills Ability to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently Excellent communication skills.
