• Performing an upgrade of Informatica PowerCenter Standard edition to Advanced edition.
• Performing an implementation and rollout of Informatica Metadata Manager.
• Providing technical support for the Informatica environment.
• Working with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance.
• Working with developers to advise on standards and tool usage.
• Promoting code from development - test - production.
• Performing other patching and upgrading as needed.
• Backup/Recovery of Informatica software, repository and configurations.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, deployment diagrams and check-lists.
• Conducting research into Informatica related issues and working with developers and the vendor when necessary.
• Automating routine tasks where appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Oracle DBMS experience as it relates to Informatica administration.
• High level knowledge of development of Informatica workflow and Velocity methodology.
• Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Good documentation skills with both technical and non-technical information.
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
• Hands-on software troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PowerExchange, Data Profiler, and pmrep kornshell Scripting is highly desirable.
