Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has 3 immediate opening for a Support Engineer/Excellent opportunity for recent BSCS Graduates! for an 11 month contract opportunity with a leading company in Burlington, VT.

This position will provide technical support for the Internet transactions group.

Specific responsibilities include:
-Support for customer, VPN and HTTPS connections
-Troubleshoot customer application errors
-Troubleshoot internal software application errors
-Ownership of specific payer connections to assure transactions are processed within specifications.
-Additional responsibilities will include documenting the payer connection info (payer primers) and process changes to improve the stability and supportability of the eCommerce offering.

Desired: (Desired Characteristics)
-Working with Relational Databases, EDI, medical billing and client support processes
-Creating and running database queries to identify potential issues
-Interacting directly with the payer community
-Supporting customers with product and process issues
-Be able to self -learn new skills as needed with minimal guidance.
-Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-BS (4 year degree)/Computer Science background a plus (not required)
-Enjoy the challenges associated with troubleshooting and providing support in a rapidly growing, new product environment.
-Have a strong desire to learn new skills and be flexible with job duties including being cross-trained on various applications and duties.
-Be able to self learn new skills as needed with minimal guidance
-Be able to design/implement rapid software solutions under pressure in different scenarios/technologies.
