Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group, Inc. has an opening for an IT Field Service Technician to assist a client in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a contract (to permanent) opportunity that is scheduled to start immediately.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides a high level of service to clients by attending to and resolving on-site service issues as related to the project installation. Conducts on-site upgrades, configurations and tests of client equipment. Maintains appropriate records and documentation on service work performed and ensures timely communication to supervisor of service order status and potential issues. In most projects, the project technician will be required to deliver the product that is slated to be installed during the course of the project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CompTIA A+ Certification REQUIRED. Hardware Vendor certifications (Compaq, IBM, HP, etc) preferred. Strong working knowledge in major operating systems including Windows 2000 Wks & Server, Active Directory, Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server. Familiarity with large account environments and protocol. Strong working knowledge in major desktop operating systems (Windows Vista and XP). Work Experience Customer Interface experience - 1 year Network installations/service experience - 1 year OS & server installations/service experience - 2 years Bench and/or on-site service technical experience - 1 year Associate's Degree in the field of technology studies, or equivalent education and/or experience. troubleshooting capability on server hardware, and operating systems, in mission critical environments.

Valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record required as you will be driving a company vehicle.
