Infrastructure Architect
Major Global Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Architect to provide comprehensive and cohesive IT architectural Solution designs for the company. Looking for someone who has strong communication, business facing and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solution architectures leveraging existing and emerging architectural components and patterns, including documentation.
• Ability to design and architect solutions as well as have the ability to see these solutions through development and implementation.
• Provide technical architectural oversight to multiple US IT projects.
• Provide technical evaluating of proposed and purchased solutions using architectures.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all questions issues related to the architectural designs within assigned initiatives.
• Manage the outsourcers.

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in solution architecture processes and in a large enterprise environment, experience in the retail industry a plus.
• 5 years experience architecting Microsoft based solutions.
• Extensive hands on experience with Oracle E-business suite.
• Experience with Unix, and Enterprise infrastructure.
• Cloud experience a Plus.
• Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Must be able to communicate with technologists along with uppper management and other technical and non technical audiences.
• Ability to built and support form the US IT organization on solutions.
