IA/CND Auditor - 928

Serves as IA staff member responsible for the analysis of network and system vulnerabilities and security events
Correlates multiple sources of information related to Computer Network Defense, Vulnerability Management, and Information Assurance activities to trend and identify risk and the assess the security posture of the enterprise
Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
Make recommendations to tailor processes, participate in and document identified risk
Makes recommendations to implement additional security requirements and safeguards that mitigate or reduce risk
Ensures the IT baseline of regional sites is compliant
Provides security certification test and evaluation of assets, vulnerability management and response, security assessments, customer support and provides guidance for the DIA Regional Service Center

Requirements:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required and must be eligible for CI Poly.
B.S. degree is preferred. Must have 5 years network defense/IA experience.
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance requires GSNA or CEH certification. CISSP may serve as a substitute.
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as E-Retina and reporting
Have 8530 knowledge and understand Computer Network Defense-Service Provider (CND-SP) operations as well as be familiar with tool types (ie IDS, IPS, anti-virus, and Firewalls) used by CND-SPs as well as CND-SP reporting processes and reporting structures
Identification and management of network and system vulnerabilities and security events; receipt, acknowledgement, dissemination, tracking and reporting (daily/weekly) of VM alerts, vulnerability/risk management, vulnerability assessments, red/blue team events, security incidents and VM COP
Perform global DoD inspections of Special Enclave (JWICS) services to ensure compliance to DoDI 8530 standards
Ensures DIA compliance with DoD 8530 GENSER and Special Enclave, coordinates with functional leads, provides inspection services across the enterprise on behalf of DIA Special Enclave (SE) program manager
