Job Description Recruitment: In conjunction with Corporate office, responsible for creating (hourly only) and posting internally and externally position openings; reviews resumes received to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications before forwarding to hiring manager; scheduling candidates interviews; creating and distributing candidates assessment forms and resumes; complete required testing (math/reading); scheduling debrief; forwards all of the above to Corporate for Affirmative Action plan. Coordinates hiring through temporary agency. New Hire Process: Create offer letters for hourly positions; check employment references; schedule physicals; run background check; complete all new hire paperwork; create electronic personnel file; and schedules and conducts new employee orientation. Maintenance of SAP HRIS system: Responsible for maintaining all data in the SAP HRIS system including hiring, termination, job movement, hourly employee wage adjustments. Miscellaneous: Assists employees with insurance and benefit questions and policy interpretation, identifying potential issues; coordinating employee/community events, educational and training activities; conducting training as required; scheduling annual audiograms; processing unemployment claims; ensuring that NYAB's affirmative action policy and instruction are complied with; ensuring compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act. Administrative Assistance: Manage employee suggestion program; translate documents into Spanish; provide administrative support to Operations team; maintain office equipment; order office supplies; anticipate needed supplies Required Skills POSITION REQUIREMENTS - Associates Degree, Human Resources or Business related field
- Three years job related experience.
- Fluent in Spanish
- Fluent in a Microsoft Office user tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS - SHRM Certification
- SAP Experience.
