What you need for this position:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in hospitality or business management
- 3+ years experience working in a Marriott, Hilton, IHG or Starwood preferred.
- Possess excellent team member leadership skills
- Experience and ability to work in the front desk, rooms/housekeeping, engineering, and sales
What you'll be doing:
* Manage Front Office, Breakfast operations, housekeeping and maintenance team members.
* Daily Front Office procedures review and proper transmission of all necessary information to the Home Office.
* Ensureproper training programs and procedures are in place in conjunction with and according to system standards.
* Know hotel emergency procedures.
* Manage inventory with budget control.
* Inspect suites daily.
* Direct hotel operations.
* Select and staff Front Office, housekeeping and maintenance team members.
* Conduct housekeeping, maintenance and Front Office team member coaching and counseling.
* Ensure proper uniform standards are in place throughout departments.
* Accommodate guests' special requests.
* Know attractions and services to accommodate guest's needs.
* Review room inventory and conducting sales strategies to maximize room revenue.
* Ensure team members are attentive to guest's needs.
* Work extended hours to include nights and weekends
