Fire/Security Tech	Contract

Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a contract Fire/Security Technician opportunity located in Northern San Diego County. This position will be responsible for the installation of electronic security systems, basic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of fire/security systems. The position will also be responsible for commissioning and programming fire/security systems. Fire/Security Technician Knowledge and Skills Requirements Maintain local and National Fire/Security Industry Certifications Assist with and/or troubleshoot system problems or advise other technicians on how to resolve an issue relating to Fire/Security systems. Assist in commissioning documentation Adhere to safety standards and local and national codes Communicate with external customers regarding installations and project updates. Complete on site documentation and necessary paperwork as required Work Experience: Requires experience and knowledge of core and third party fire/security products, software and systems and electrical technology Knowledge of local and National Fire Security Industry standards Prior experience installing and troubleshooting Fire and Security systems Additional Requirements: This position will require obtaining a Security Clearance. Education: Minimum High School or GED and equivalent work experience.
