Global Industry leader in manufacturing consumer products seeking Financial Analyst -

Position Responsibilities:
Review and route capital spend requests, including interacting with Operations and Engineering Staff.
Analyze Financial data and work with other Finance Team members in presenting and reporting the data effectively to Operations.
Assist in the month end financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations and metric reporting.
Assist the Manager of Finance in key finance department projects
Analyze labor hours and other plant costs
Help with annual budget
Assist in month end accounting close activities
Oversee the Capital Spend Approval Process
Responsibility for Capital Expenditures Forecast
Assist in the accounting for and audit of fixed assets (property plant & equipment)
Work with other Operations personnel, including participating in Lean Events
Monitor Key Internal Controls
Various analytical review and presentation preparation

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with 1 to 5 years of experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
PC proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to plan and organize effectively
Ability to use methodical approaches to complex problems/issues
Attention to detail
Knowledge of SAP preferred
Experience within a Manufacturing environment a plus!
