Document Classification Specialist I

Equity Trust is currently looking for a strong operational team member to join our Document Management Team as a Document Classification Specialist. As a Document Classification Specialist you will be responsible for assigning client money movement requests to the Cash Management Team as well as assigning original investment documents retained in office for safekeeping and assigning mail received for the legal department.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Functions:

  • Perform research within database to locate client account numbers
  • Review comments within existing activities to determine if documents received are corrections
  • Create activities in database pertaining to same day service requests
  • Print verification forms
  • Create activities or add corrections onto existing activities for expedited requests
  • Generate letters for insurance notices, bill pay forwards, and miscellaneous forward mail
  • Deliver forward mail and letters to appropriate personnel for electronic filing within database

Skills/Qualifications Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 8500 ksph and 45 wpm. accurate Alpha and numeric entry experience communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high energy environment
  • Ambition, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
  • Be a self-starter with problem solving skills
