Located in Los Angeles, we are a WELL FUNDED, prestigious Long Term Acute Care medical organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare. We are looking for a dynamic and superior Director of HIM who has at least 3 years of management experience, consulting and supervising coders to join our team
What you need for this position:
- Must be an RHIT, or RHIA, or CSS
- LTAC experience preferred but not required(Will need to learn LTAC coding)
- Previous Coding Management experience
- 3M or Medtech experience
- In-Patient/Out-Patient experience
- A Bachelors degree is a plus but not required
What you'll be doing:
- 80% auditing and coding training.
- 20% of time will be spent in HIM process reviews
