Developer	Contract

Our client is seeking a Developer. The team develops and supports global margin requirement calculation system. This provides cross-asset class portfolio-based margin calculations and portfolio risk measures used to review and asset the margin requirements. Calculations take place in regional overnight batches (New York, London and Hong Kong) as well as on-demand and near-Real Time calculations during the day. The system is Java with C# guis. Data storage is Sybase and DB2. Most of the data loads are in Perl. Skills Required Strong Java, C++ or C# knowledge. Good communication skills, in particular the ability to talk with our clients and users. A strong candidate will have one or more of the following distinguishing skills: An advanced degree Knowledge of financial products OO Perl knowledge Strong DB knowledge (as a user, not DBA)
