Database Analyst/Data Modeler/Data Architect with extensive Data Modeling experience in healthcare industry for a consulting engagment. The individual joining this team will work closely with Business Intelligence and Clinical Decision Support teams to develop conceptual and logical models for selected subject areas. In addition, this individual will work closely with the DBA to implement and refine the physical model. The new data models will be used for reporting and analysis purposes.

Specifically, this individual will be expected to:

• Work primarily with Data Modelers, ETL and Report Developers to build a data model prototype of selected subject areas that would be used for reporting and analysis purposes
• Discuss pros and cons of different approaches to dimensional data models considering our specific needs
• Have ability to abstract general principles from specifics
• Work with report developers to demonstrate the proposed data model will address specific reporting and analysis needs
• Transfer the knowledge to the appropriate team members involved

Reason For Position: Project to build phase I of a clinical decision support reporting environment.
