Company in Lakeland, FL seeks an experienced Database Administrator. Position is Full-Time

Education: Bachelor's Degree with major in Information System or Computer Science preferred. Associates Degree plus five years database experience required.

Experience: NextGen EMR experience required. Minimum of five years experience in managing and maintaining complex relational database management systems.

Other Requirements: Expert knowledge of state-of-the-art relational database management systems. Hands-on technical knowledge and experience in database performance tuning and maintenance of Oracle, MS SQL, Cache´ databases. Detail knowledge of SQL tools and techniques. Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities:
Demonstrates expert knowledge in Relational Data Base Management Systems, including but not limited to Oracle, Cache´, and MS SQL. Actively participates in team development, achieving dashboards, and in accomplish-ing department goals and objectives. Collaborates with all IS leaders, analysts, technical/systems, and operational support staff to identify information support needs and implement solutions so as to support the achievement of performance/upgrades outcomes. Serves as an enterprise database management expert technical consultant within and across systems of knowledge. Conducts analysis and validation of user requests for code changes, and suggest most effective and efficient alternatives to meet needs. Consistently demonstrates ability to identify system issues/risk and proactively identifies and facilitates early interventions with appropriate outcomes. Conducts analysis of requests for data, entity relationship diagrams and defines data attributes. Maintains and tunes relational databases and tables. Installs new and upgrades releases of relational database management systems.
