Job Summary:
Leads and aligns the Systems overall direction, consistent with its stated mission and vision, across the following: PCU performance optimization, service pricing, market opportunity analysis, strategic planning and business development, service line optimization, consulting oversight and management and near and long term investment decisions. Enhances the Systems reporting and financial management capabilities. Reports to the Senior Director Finance and Strategy with significant interaction with other members of the senior management team. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration with focus in finance, strategy and/or healthcare management
8 to 10 years of progressive healthcare finance experience
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with working knowledge of MS Access and/or statistical software packages.
Working knowledge of healthcare data and the inter-related nature of coding nomenclatures (eg DRGs, ID-9s, CPT, HCPCS, etc.)
Experience in requesting and/or extracting data from healthcare information systems including, but not limited to SMS, EPIC, HPM, AIMS, MedCon, etc.
Track record of leading and/or preparing leadership-ready comprehensive documents in multiple formats (eg memos, executive summaries, presentations, workbooks, etc.)
Experience presenting analytical findings and reports to senior leadership
Highly polished analytical, critical thinking and communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrated work ethic, self starter, professionalism, meticulousness, adaptability/quick learner and ability to multi-task and a true desire to pursue a career in healthcare administration
Substantial experience facilitating cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a team of at least 10 analysts within a finance or strategy setting
Advanced knowledge of financial/managerial accounting and activity based costing
Experience supporting major finance/strategic/business development decisions such as service line/business acquisitions, divestitures, start-ups and/or re-organizations
Active member of HFMA, ACHE, MGMA or the like.
